Peanut and oat cookies

Quick and easy to have in the cookie jar.

Makes about 15 cookies.

 

150g plain flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

125g peanut butter

115g butter, room temperature

150g soft brown sugar

100g oats

2 tablespoons golden syrup

Mix all the ingredients together, chill for an hour

in the fridge before baking.

To bake, set oven 180c gas 4      Line a baking sheet

with nonstick paper.

Take about 35g of the mixture for each cookie, roll into

a small ball and flatten with your hand onto the

baking  sheet, bake for 15 minutes, cool on the baking

sheet, when the cookies are cooled, drizzle with a

little melted chocolate.
